Paper & Plastics Recycling Conference announces new venue for 2021
Recycling Today has announced a new venue for its annual Paper & Plastics Recycling Conference: the Marriott Marquis Chicago. The conference is scheduled for Oct. 20-21 and once again will be co-located with the MRF Operations Forum, which is scheduled for Oct. 19.
The Marriott Marquis Chicago was designed as a conference hotel. Featuring 90,000 square feet of meeting space and floor-to-ceiling views of Chicago, the Recycling Today Media Group is excited to host industry professionals at this new venue this fall. The property offers the latest technology, unmatched meeting space and sleek designs. This new venue will match the elevated agenda, which also has been streamlined into a two-day format.
“We’re thrilled to not only return to an in-person meeting in 2021 but to move to this fabulous new property right in Chicago,” says Jim Keefe, publisher of Recycling Today. “The meeting space, exhibit hall, suites and lobby will create a fabulous environment for our conference,” he adds.
Attendees who wish to take meetings off-site will find no shortage of restaurants within walking distance in Chicago’s South Loop.
The Paper & Plastics Recycling Conference was created to address the biggest challenges and opportunities facing recycling businesses today. Now more than ever, with the growing commitment of consumer packaged goods, or CPG, companies to increase the recycled content in their packaging and its recyclability, the supply chain needs to work together to develop solutions. The Paper & Plastics Recycling Conference provides attendees with the opportunity to join industry leaders at all stages of the supply chain and have their voices heard when it comes to the most important business issues.
The day before the conference, those interested in better understanding recycling plant operations and technology are invited to attend the MRF Operations Forum. In its sixth year, this forum provides the only opportunity for operators to learn and discuss the ever-changing world of recycling plant optimization.
More information on the conference and forum can be found online at www.RecyclingTodayEvents.com.
Registration, pricing and sponsorship details are soon to come.
Those interested in speaking opportunities are asked to contact Lauren Rathmell, conference producer, by email at lrathmell@gie.net.
