The RG 52K Rotary Shredder, from Vecoplan, is designed specifically for processing plastic waste for reclamation and recycling, large extruder purgings, large reject parts, trim scraps, baled or loose film, synthetic fiber, wood processing scrap, medical waste, cardboard, paper and carpet.. Engineered to deliver cross-cut shredding in a one pass process, the RG 52K produces consistently sized shredded particles, that can be adjusted to meet different requirements via easily interchangeable screens. The RG 52K has a hopper opening of 52” x 58”, a hopper volume of 3.75 cubic yards, a rotor diameter of 15”, 37 (40 x 40) cutters, a 130 rpm rotor speed, a 100 HP drive motor, a 5 HP – Two Speed hydraulic feed ram, an 11,500 lb. machine weight, and 460 v/3 ph/60 Hz voltage requirement.
