Morbark, Inc., a Winn, Mich.-based equipment manufacturer, has announced the commercial release of its Morbark Quick Switch grinder-to-chipper conversion kit. Features include:
- Available for Morbark track and rubber-tire horizontal grinder models 3800, 4600, 4600XL and 6600
- Makes it possible for current grinder owners to produce a marketable chip by modifying the horizontal grinder’s hammermill
- Allows an average conversion of a grinder to a chipper in less than three hours
- Can produce a chip between 5/8 inch and ¾ inch in size
