Waste Pro USA Inc., headquartered in Longwood, Florida, has promoted Glenn Schweiger to assistant division manager in Milton, Florida.
Schweiger, who has worked more than 25 years in the solid waste industry, began his career at Waste Pro six years ago. He started with the company as a lead driver in Spanish Fort, Alabama, and worked his way up to supervisor. He eventually moved to Milton when the opportunity came for him to advance again in the role of operations manager. Waste Pro says Schweiger’s years of experience in supervising, route management and operations have been instrumental to his continued growth.
In his new position, Schweiger will be responsible for budgeting, hiring, coaching and managing the Milton division employees, which currently serves more than 51,000 residential and commercial customers. He will work under the guidance of Waste Pro Division Vice President Rick Chancey and Waste Pro Regional Vice President Ralph Mills.
“Glenn lives and breathes the Waste Pro way,” Mills says. “He is committed to our Waste Pro [employees], customers and the community. I’m confident he will be an excellent leader under Rick’s guidance.”
