W. Silver Recycling, El Paso, Texas, has announced plans to relocate its headquarters to a new building in downtown El Paso.
Hunt Cos. Inc., a family-owned holding company based in El Paso, says the industrial recycler has purchased the 15th floor of a 20-story building in El Paso.
“W. Silver is looking forward to relocating our headquarters to WestStar Tower in downtown El Paso,” says Lane Gaddy, chief executive officer of W. Silver Recycling. “This move to what will be a signature commercial landmark cements our commitment to and investment in the revival of downtown.”
W. Silver is a 99-year-old, third-generation business that employs nearly 500 people at all of its facilities, including more than 100 people at its El Paso headquarters. The company operates a total of 11 locations along the U.S. and Mexico border.
According to a news release from Hunt Cos., WestStar Tower broke ground in 2018 and recently commemorated the topping off of the building. When complete in 2021, the facility will be the tallest building in El Paso at more than 313 feet high. Other tenants committed to this location include HUB International, Corralito Restaurant, WestStar Bank and Hunt Cos.
