Vecoplan Introduces RG 70-S Rotary Shredder

Vecoplan LLC, a High Point, N.C.-based provider of size-reduction equipment, has introduced the RG 70-S industrial shredder, designed specifically for processing paper and plastic scrap for reclamation and recycling, large extruder purgings and reject parts, trim scraps, baled or loose film, synthetic fiber, carpet, wood processing scrap, medical waste and cardboard.

The RT 70-S features a larger rotor diameter and taller feed ram to improve throughput and overall processing efficiency when processing bulky scrap materials.

The shredder is equipped with a 10.25-cubic yard hopper and a 70-inch-by-82-inch infeed opening for true dump-and-run operation. It features a 25-inch diameter rotor with 84 to 126 cutting inserts and is powered by a 150- to 200-horsepower motor, turns at 125 rpm and is fed by a 10-horsepower two-speed hydraulic feed ram.
