Tube City IMS Corp. announced that its IMS Division in Ecorse, MI, has received ISO 9001:2000 Quality Management System certification from Steel Related Industries Quality System Registrar, Inc.
"Tube City IMS has made significant progress in developing a world class quality system," said Raymond Kalouche, president and COO of Tube City IMS, IMS Division. "Receiving ISO 9001: 2000 certification for our Ecorse slab surface conditioning operations is an objective recognition of our success in achieving that goal. The design and process standardization we have implemented should give our customers confidence that our operations will provide them the same consistently high quality products and service. This was a tremendous achievement that attests to our team members' commitment to customer satisfaction."
