Global manufacturing conglomerate Tingue, Brown & Co., Saddle Brook, New Jersey, has named Douglas Green, Esq., vice president of human resources.
The company says Green brings a proven track record for building human resources departments that are committed to employee growth, support and success. In his new role, Green is responsible for all facets of human resources management at Tingue, Brown & Co., including at its laundry product supply company, Tingue, operating in North America and in Hong Kong; at its recycling cart manufacturer, MODRoto; and at its consulting firm, TBR Associates. He will oversee policy formulation, organizational development, employee relations and recruitment, compensation and benefits and navigating the regulatory environment.
Green is a former employment attorney for the United States House of Representatives and recently served as vice president of human resources at Guaranteed Rate, a $500 million lending firm with 2,300 employees in 38 states, and at The Merchandise Mart, with 600 employees in eight cities across the United States and Canada.
At Tingue, Green will lead the integration of various human resources departments at the company's six facilities in North America into a coordinated team advancing a unified strategy with a consistent approach from one facility to the next, says David Tingue, CEO of the family-owned company that was founded in 1902.

A featured speaker for the Society of Human Resource Management and professional mediator, Green also serves as an adjunct professor of law at Loyola University, Chicago, and will continue teaching.
He earned a Doctor of Law degree from the University of Illinois College of Law in Champaign, and a B.S. in business administration from Washington University School of Business, St. Louis. He resides in Chicago with his wife and their two children.
