Terex Fuchs Attachments Available for Range of Applications

The company’s lift hooks, cactus grabs and magnets are designed for any model of Terex Fuchs material handler.

Southaven, Miss.-based Terex Fuchs is offering a variety of work attachments for its material handlers that are built for use in scrap, recycling, demolition and heavy-duty handling applications.

The company’s lift hooks, cactus grabs and magnets are offered in a range of options and are available for any model of Terex Fuchs material handler. With size ranges built specifically for each material handler model, these attachments work with the company’s machines to increase productivity and lifting efficiency, the company says.

The company offers a range of options with quick-attach designs so operators can switch between attachments within minutes, Terex Fuchs says.

The company’s cactus grabs feature robust construction, advanced kinematics and tine-closing forces and hydraulics that are performance-matched to the machine for powerful and precise material handling, Terex Fuchs says.

The grabs’ features are designed to provide long life, with wear-resistant, high-manganese steel tine tips and “Hardox” steel extending the equipment’s durability, the company says. A variety of cactus grab models — open, half or closed-shell tine designs — with capacities from 0.5 to 1.8 cubic yards are available. Some models can be equipped with a magnet.

Terex Fuchs Electro Magnets are built to exert force over the entire diameter of the magnet plate. The company says the magnets lift forces from 22,480 to 85,427 foot-pounds and that each magnetic plate is precisely matched to the standard DC generator found on each Terex Fuchs material handler model. The electro magnets are available in hydraulically rotating, rigid and chain suppression plate designs for various applications. Diameters range from 37 to 79 inches, matching each material handler model.

Terex Fuchs lift hooks are designed to deliver high lifting capacities ranging from 10 to 20 tons. A full range of lift hooks are available to meet a variety of material handling needs, the company says. Hook designs are available in standard or quick-change suspensions with either rigid or rotating designs.
