Herrsching am Ammersee, Germany-based Veneto Schwenter GmbH says it now represents Tana Oy, a Finland-based manufacturer of shredding equipment and landfill compactors, in the German market.
The German dealership and service provider says it has become a “strategic partner” of Tana in Germany, adding it now has an “exclusive partnership” with Tana in that nation.
“Veneto Schwenter is known for selling and renting high-quality machines from top manufacturers,” says the German company, adding it also offers “first-class consulting services and [has] extensive experience in machine service and repairs.”
The German company says its “many years of experience in the recycling industry” will help make it an ideal partner for Tana.
Other equipment lines Veneto Schwenter represents and services include shredder makers Zato Recycling Solutions of Italy and M&J Recycling of Germany, plus safety devices made by Reacton Fire Suppression Ltd. of the United Kingdom.
“Together with Veneto Schwenter, Tana will significantly expand its presence and service options in the German market,” say the companies.
Veneto Schwenter cites versatility as “a major advantage” of Tana shredders, saying the firm’s Shark model “is able to produce a homogeneous final grain and has the ability to process the widest range of materials.”
The Tana 440 shredder is used for processing “demanding waste fractions such as mattresses, tires, plastics, cables and textiles,” adds the German company.
The Finnish company’s shredders are available on mobile trailers, tracks and on stationary platforms, says Veneto Schwenter, and units can be outfitted to run on diesel fuel or electrical power.
The German dealership says Tana systems are “very easy to set up” and can be operated via integrated Tana Control System (TCS) technology that can be updated remotely.
“Easy access to all service and maintenance points is one of the outstanding features of Tana products,” adds Veneto Schwenter. The company cites side walls that can be opened by radio, allowing “quick access to the rotor and the counter knives.”
