Germany-based Veneto Schwenter GmbH now represents Tana Oy, a Finland-based manufacturer of shredding equipment and landfill compactors, in the German market.
The German dealership and service provider has become a strategic partner of Tana in Germany and now has an exclusive partnership with Tana in that nation.
“Veneto Schwenter is known for selling and renting high-quality machines from top manufacturers,” Tana says, adding it also offers “first-class consulting services and [has] extensive experience in machine service and repairs.”
Other equipment lines Veneto Schwenter represents include shredder makers Zato Recycling Solutions of Italy and M&J Recycling of Denmark, plus safety devices made by Reacton Fire Suppression Ltd. of the United Kingdom.
“Together with Veneto Schwenter, Tana will significantly expand its presence and service options in the German market,” the companies says.
Veneto Schwenter cites versatility as “a major advantage” of Tana shredders, saying the firm’s Shark model is able to produce a homogeneous final grain and has the ability to process the widest range of materials.
The Tana 440 shredder is used for processing demanding waste fractions such as mattresses, tires, plastics, cables and textiles.
Veneto Schwenter’s shredders are available on mobile trailers, tracks and on stationary platforms, and units can be outfitted to run on diesel fuel or electrical power.
The German dealership says Tana systems are “very easy to set up” and can be operated via integrated Tana Control System (TCS) technology that can be updated remotely.
“Easy access to all service and maintenance points is one of the outstanding features of Tana products,” Veneto Schwenter says. The company cites side walls that can be opened by radio, allowing “quick access to the rotor and the counter knives.”
