Sortera Ltd. launches in the UK

Sortera Ltd. has launched in the United Kingdom following its acquisition of two London-based companies last year, GBN Services and O’Donovan’s Waste Management. Through the acquisition, Sortera assumes responsibility for six existing U.K. sites in Rochford, Harlow, Edmonton, Uxbridge, Tottenham and Wembley. 

Sortera says its entry into the U.K. market follows its success in providing quality waste management solutions in the Nordic region. With a focus on environmental sustainability and technological advancement, Sortera says it aims to spearhead transformative changes within the U.K. construction, recycling and waste management sectors.

Sortera's services include waste collection, recycling and resource recovery, with an emphasis on maximizing efficiency and minimizing environmental impact. According to the company, it’s looking to incorporate other services, including a complete service for the processing of water encompassing testing, analysis and treatment with specialized equipment. Through advanced technologies and strategic partnerships, Sortera says it aims to streamline operations, reduce waste generation and promote circular economy principles across the U.K.
