Kalamazoo, Michigan-based Schupan and Sons Inc. has announced the promotion of Rachel Dejtiranukul to vice president of operations for the company’s materials trading division. Dejtiranukul brings 18 years of experience in metals recycling to the role.
Prior to joining Schupan in 2023, Dejtiranukul held positions at David J. Joseph Co., most recently serving as business development manager and export manager. During her time at Schupan, Dejtiranukul has gained experience in strategic planning, client relations and international market development, the company says.
As vice president of operations, Dejtiranukul will be responsible for implementing process and performance improvements, leading projects and working with other leaders to align company initiatives.
“Rachel is an extremely skilled leader and talented professional who represents Schupan’s commitment to servicing our customers and exceeding their expectations,” says Andy McKee, president of Schupan Materials Trading. “I’m thrilled to see her move forward with our group and I’m confident there is no one more prepared to meet the challenges of an ever-evolving marketplace.”
Schupan says Dejtiranukul’s success in the metals recycling industry, leadership skills and industry knowledge will be an asset as the company continues to expand its materials trading division.
