Rumpke of Ohio Inc. has purchased certain waste collection, hauling, disposal and recycling assets from RLS Recycling, based in Chillicothe, Ohio.
The acquisition included about 30 waste collection vehicles and utility equipment, adding to Rumpke’s existing Central and Southeast Ohio service areas.
According to a release, Rumpke has begun serving former RLS customers and will mail notification letters to the new customers announcing the change. Rumpke will initially maintain the same collection schedule as RLS, and customer service will remain uninterrupted during the transition.
“Our goal is always to provide excellent service for our customers,” says Andrew Rumpke, vice president at Rumpke. “We look forward to integrating the new customers into our existing service territory.”
