RRT Design & Construction, headquartered in Melville, New York, has opened an office in Minnesota and added a vice president of engineering services to its staff to head the new office.
RRT Design & Construction, a service of Enviro-Services & Constructors Inc., is a leading provider of professional services for solid waste management and recycling companies, including designing material recovery facilities. Its services include project development, engineering and technology, equipment and procurement, construction and operations management that support public and private sector projects.
The new office marks a significant step in RRT's commitment to deliver high-quality consulting, engineering and construction services to the recycling industry, according to the firm, and strengthens its presence in the upper Midwest, enhancing its ability to support clients in the region.
Matt Clark, P.E., is the company’s new vice president of engineering services. A professional engineer with more than 40 years of experience, Clark oversees RRT’s teams in providing engineering and construction management services to municipal clients. He also assists with training and developing RRT’s staff in the areas of mechanical engineering, project management and client management services.
Clark has expertise in energy-from-waste, solid waste management and power and energy projects. Before joining the firm, he served as manager of assets and engineering at Great River Energy, overseeing the Hennepin Energy Recovery Facility. His career also includes leadership roles as senior vice president and engineering director at RRC Power and Energy and vice president at HDR Engineering, where he also served as the waste-to-energy practice leader.
Clark also has authored or co-authored several technical publications presented at key industry conferences, covering topics such as emissions control, resource recovery and cogeneration.
“We are thrilled to welcome Matt Clark to our team,” RRT President Nathiel Egosi says. “His vast experience and deep knowledge of the Midwest market will be instrumental in supporting our clients’ ongoing growth and expansion. We are excited to strengthen our presence in this region and provide even greater value to our clients.
