ReMatter launches inventory management software for recyclers

ReMatter, a software solutions provider for the recycling industry, has launched Inventory Pro, an inventory management module designed to help recyclers track and manage their materials.

The Los Angeles-based software developer says Inventory Pro offers recyclers “unprecedented” visibility into their inventory, combining real-time tracking with advanced features such as weighted average cost calculation and material on-hand/in-transit monitoring. ReMatter says the new program addresses critical pain points in the industry, including lack of visibility and inventory inaccuracies, that have previously only been solved with time-consuming analytics offline.

“Inventory Pro was built off the feedback and use cases of our customers,” ReMatter CEO Wyatt Pontius says. “By providing real-time, accurate inventory data, we’re empowering our clients to make faster, more informed decisions that directly impact their bottom line.”

Key features of Inventory Pro include:

• Real-time inventory tracking: Users can automate accurate inventory with real-time updates as they make purchases, sales and adjustments.
• Event ledger: Inventory Pro offers a clear and easily viewable audit trail for all inventory movements in the system.
• Weighted average cost tracking: Users can optimize pricing strategies using true, real-time material costs.
• On-hand and in-transit visibility: Users can view and manage inventory for both “work in progress” and “finished goods” categories across inbound, on-hand, available to ship, outgoing and in-transit statuses.
• Detailed views across yards: Users can drill into material and material grade level details across yards to inform more effective business decisions.

ReMatter says Inventory Pro is designed to strengthen recyclers’ operations in several key areas, including efficiency by eliminating manual record keeping and estimations; transparency, by offering accurate, real-time records that support compliance needs; and by enhanced operational control, where users can automate repetitive tasks and empower data-driven decision-making.

Inventory Pro is now available as part of the ReMatter Console. The company also has announced plans for future enhancements, including physical inventory adjustments, inventory periods and automated processing rules.
