Recycling Equipment Manufacturing Inc. (REM) based in Priest River, Idaho, has introduced the REM Portable Sort System Trailer Mount (PSST).
The PSST is designed to be a mobile sort platform that can be transported from site to site on a localized basis. The system consists of REM’s TRC series infeed transfer conveyor and a sorting conveyor mounted on a trailer along with pitch chutes.
Options for the PSST include generator power, hydraulic drive and hydraulic power unit (HPU), various belting and pulley configurations and a variable frequency drive.
The sort system features a roomy and safe walkway, the company says, which also is collapsible for easy transportation.
According to REM, the PSST can accommodate different types of products and has a heavy-duty design that is suited for scrap applications. REM can customize the PSST with custom conveyor lengths and number of bins.
The company’s equipment is built in the United States and features readily available replacement parts and electrical components, REM says.
