Rehrig Pacific Co. broke ground last week on its new injection molding manufacturing facility in Buckeye, Arizona—about 30 miles west of Phoenix.
The Los Angeles-based recycling and waste industry supply manufacturer began the first phase of its project, which includes a 260,000-square-foot facility, Monday with a groundbreaking ceremony.
“The investment in a new facility with plenty of room for growth supports Rehrig Pacific’s mission and values,” CEO Will Rehrig says. “It was essential that we chose a location that worked well for both our current and future customers and one that supported our team members.”
According to the company, the site includes room for incremental growth of up to 500,000 square feet and is expected to be operational by late April next year.
“Rehrig Pacific’s new manufacturing facility showcases the rapid economic growth in the West Valley and across the state,” Arizona Commerce Authority President and CEO Sandra Watson says. “We are proud Rehrig Pacific will extend its legacy with this innovative and sustainable facility in Buckeye, enhancing our rapidly growing manufacturing industry.”
Rehrig Pacific manufactures plastic pallets, crates, containers, pails, trays and totes for the recycling and waste industry and currently has eight manufacturing facilities across North America.
