Toronto-based information technology asset disposition (ITAD) company Quantum Lifecycle Partners LP has opened its sixth facility in Canada and its second in Alberta. The facility brings all the essential ITAD services to businesses around the Edmonton area and northern Alberta, according to the company.
The 7,800-square-foot facility started operations Feb. 1 and will deliver logistics, data security services, e-waste sorting and remarketing of obsolete and discarded electronic devices for organizations of all sizes.
“In addition to Quantum’s e-waste recycling facility located at the city of Edmonton’s waste management facility, the new ITAD facility aims to provide a complete lifecycle management service for electronics and IT hardware to our existing and new customers," Quantum Lifecycle Partners President Gary Diamond says in a news release. "I am personally excited and want to thank our team who’ve worked diligently to open this facility.”
Mark Cooper, the company’s vice president of business development, says the aim of the new facility is to simplify ITAD management for businesses in and around Edmonton. “Alberta is an important commercial hub, home to some of the key industries in Canada, and we at Quantum want to ensure a seamless process for their data security and electronics reuse needs," he adds. "The new Edmonton facility will reduce logistics costs and reporting times for customers from Edmonton and northern Alberta.”
Babak Tabrizi, the company’s vice president of ITAD operations, says the company has brought in a number of experienced ITAD operations personnel and is ready to deliver exceptional value to its Alberta customers. “Organizations across Canada trust us to maximize the value from their IT assets, ensure their data is secure and maintain the highest level of environmental compliance," Tabrizi says. "We look forward to further servicing the Edmonton business community.”
