Midland Davis Corp. has promoted Laura Davis to the new chief strategy officer (CSO) position.
In the role, Davis will be “instrumental" in shaping and executing the company’s overall strategic vision to drive growth and innovation, according to the Moline, Illinois-based recycling company.
“As a fifth-generation leader at Midland Davis, we are thrilled to have Laura Davis in this role to help guide the company for years to come,” Midland Davis President Martin Davis says.
Laura Davis will work closely with the executive team and department heads to align the company’s strategy with its mission and vision, the company adds.
Midland Davis is a full-service recycling company with a history tracing back more than 130 years. The company processes ferrous, nonferrous, paper, plastic and wood scrap from its headquarters facility in Moline. It also has a brokerage division that buys and sells recycled materials and a facility in Rock Island, Illinois, that buys, repairs and sells shipping pallets.
