Metro Recycling, headquartered in Griffith, Indiana, has announced plans to open a new recycling facility in Lowell, Indiana. The new facility, a buyback center, is expected to be open and operational by April 2015, the company says
Additionally, Metro Recycling has announced plans to add two new services: a pickup service for all grades of recovered fiber and a Dumpster rental service for the collection of recyclables and solid waste.
In addition to handling paper, Metro Recycling collects and processes ferrous and nonferrous metals from throughout the Northwestern part of Indiana as well as in the Chicagoland area.
In addition to its yard Griffith, Metro Recycling operates facilities in Valparaiso, Indiana and Blue Island, Illinois.
