Stanley Infrastructure, a Portland, Oregon-based manufacturer of industrial tools and attachments, has announced the expansion of its latest line of mobile scrap shears. Starting in April, LaBounty will begin rolling out four new models of its MSD Legend Series, introducing the MSD4000R, MSD4500R, MSD2000 and MSD1500R.
To minimize maintenance and increase performance, the company says its MSD Legend shears feature 10 percent more force than previous shear lines and increased uptime with Dual Max Indexable Protection, the industry’s only full protection, indexable piercing tip. Additionally, 360-degree rotation with improved balance offers better control to reduce drift and increase operational stability.
The new shears also are equipped with InSite, a telematics platform that provides real-time data to optimize shear performance and productivity. Available for iOS and Android, the InSite app allows users to access valuable information, including job tracking, job site mapping and remote diagnostics.
