JMH Trailers Inc., Hamburg, Pa., says it is targeting scrap haulers and haulers of other heavy commodities as potential buyers of its new Monster G Gondola trailer.
The company describes the latest in its series of steel trailers as having a 48-foot long reinforced steel body and a 100-cubic-yard payload capacity.The Monster G Gondola also is described by the company as being fuel-efficient and durable, made with a 3/16-inch thick steel floor and 1/8-inch thick sides. Buyers have the option of fabricating the Monster G with HardOx Wear Plate also.
The standard side height of the 22,100-pound trailer is 96 inches, with an overall height of 12 feet and 3 inches.
Additional features, according to a news release from JMH, include:
- Heavy-duty Hutch suspension that puts the rating at 25,000 pounds per axle;
- A double or single manual lock door under which is a 21-inch ICC bumper;
- Jost International two-speed landing gear designed for fast dropping and retracting of the landing gear;
- Two ladders (driver and passenger side at the rear tire) are standard with additional ladders optional;
- Optional tarp systems are available as well as options to design custom-built applications.
