Arthur Dodge III, CEO and president of Ecore International, Lancaster, Pennsylvania, has been elected as a director of the Institute of Scrap Recycling Industries (ISRI) and chairman of ISRI’s Tire Chapter.
As an ISRI director, Dodge will participate in national policy discussions related to domestic and international trade and help support the promotion of the recycling industry’s contribution to a cleaner and healthier planet.
In his role as Tire Chapter chair, Dodge will conduct outreach to recycled rubber industry leaders to help support and raise awareness of contributions to safety and environmental applications for the tire recycling and recycled rubber products industries.
“Sustainable products and processes form the core of what we do at Ecore,” says Dodge. “I am excited to work with ISRI members to build on the association’s vision for protecting and preserving the planet and continuing its mission to promote environmentally responsible products, technologies and services.”
Dodge was elected to both positions at the ISRI2018 Convention & Exposition, held April 14-19 at the Mandalay Bay Resort and Casino in Las Vegas. He will serve two-year terms.
Ecore transforms reclaimed materials and processes more than 80 million pounds of scrap tire rubber each year. The company is comprised of four business units: Ecore Athletic, Ecore Commercial Flooring, Ecore Industrial and Ecore Construction.
ISRI, a nonprofit trade association consisting of more than 1,600 private and public for-profit companies, promotes public awareness of the value and importance of recycling in the production of goods and services worldwide.
