The Washington-based Institute of Scrap Recycling Industries (ISRI) has elected David Borsuk of Sadoff Iron & Metal C., Fond du Lac, Wisconsin, as a new director-at-large to its board. Borsuk, who was elected at ISRI’s summer 2016 board meeting, will serve a two-year term, ending in 2018.
“ISRI welcomes and congratulates David on his election to the board of directors,” says ISRI President Robin Wiener. “David’s leadership, experience and overall expertise in the industry are sure to help lead our organization over the next two years and beyond.”
Borsuk is currently the manager of industrial marketing and environmental affairs at Sadoff Iron & Metal. In addition to having been with the Sadoff organization for 46 years, he also has served as the chair of the ISRI Audit Committee and its Airbag Working Group. Borsuk also serves as a member of ISRI’s Circle of Safety Excellence Steering Committee.
Apart from ISRI activities, Borsuk is a member of both the city of Oshkosh, Wisconsin, Planning Commission as well as the Greater Oshkosh EDC Industrial Development Committee.
