Switzerland-based ICM AG has announced it will convene three recycling industry conferences in a four-day span this November in Shanghai.
The events organizer, which hosts annual events on battery, automotive and electronics recycling in Europe each year, is returning to the Asian events scene after a multiyear hiatus that began with the COVID-19 outbreak in 2020.
This year, ICM says it will hold the following three events Nov. 10-13 in Shanghai: the International Automotive Recycling Congress Asia 2025, the International Congress for Battery Recycling Asia 2025 and the International Electronics Recycling Congress Asia 2025.
ICM is referring to the events as “three congresses in one, creating a unique platform for industry leaders to network and exchange.”
The company says it plans to bring together “international experts to discuss the latest advancements in circular economy and sustainable resource recovery” and that it also intends to arrange plant tours of remanufacturing and recycling facilities in the Shanghai region.
ICM says it will conduct a call for papers and presentations in April and will open registration for the events that month.
All three events will take place at the Pudong Shangri-La Hotel in Shanghai, which is located about 25 miles from Shanghai Pudong International Airport.
