Greyhound Recycling and Recovery, based in Clondalkin, Ireland, has been named the winning bidder by the South Dublin County Council to provide collection services to more than 70,000 households in the county. The company began servicing the community on April 4, 2011.
In receiving the bid, the company says that there will be no increase in the cost of bin collections; the company will honor all existing waivers; and Greyhound will immediately introduce new reduced pricing options and packages to beat any other in the market.
“We are delighted to announce that Greyhound Recycling and Recovery has bought the household waste collection service from South Dublin County Council area after a competitive sales process,” says Brian Buckley, Greyhound’s managing director.
“The decision to purchase the business was founded in our belief that we can improve the existing service, while also offering unbeatable prices and greater value to households throughout South County Dublin,” Buckley adds.
“Greyhound Recycling and Recovery already provides a waste collection service to more than 500,000 customers in Ireland.
