Genesis Attachments, headquartered in Superior, Wis., has introduced four XT model mobile shears to its line of shears. Genesis now has eight different shears available.

"Interest in our new GXT mobile shears is high," says David Palvere, Genesis director of business development. "Scrap processors and demolition contractors appreciate that the GXT fits on smaller carriers, reducing their initial acquisition and hourly energy consumption costs."
The GXT also features an apex, where most of the cutting is done. The apex is closer to the back of the jaws, improving material gathering and increasing cutting performance and efficiency while reducing maintenance, according to the company.
Additional XT models are planned and the complete line will fit 20,000-pound to 250,000-pound excavators, Genesis says.
