According to a press release issued by GEEP, ProAmbi and GEEP recognize the need to meet global customer requirements in the maturing industry of asset management and e-scrap. ProAmbi-GEEP Mexico has committed to become a fully audited facility meeting all of GEEP’s ISO standards and downstream requirements, GEEP says.

ProAmbi was established in 2008. Andison says GEEP will direct materials from its clients operating in Mexico to the ProAmbi-GEEP Mexico facility. “We have large key accounts in Mexico. We can now partner them with ProAmbi," she says.
ProAmbi-GEEP Mexico, which operates one facility in Mexico City, will be relocating the facility in November 2011. According to Andison, the firm hopes to open several more electronics recycling facilities in Mexico in the next several years.

GEEP was acquired by Triple M Metals in April 2011 and is expanding its global footprint. The company currently has 14 locations throughout Canada, United States, Mexico, Europe and Central America.
