Fuchs, a Germany-based manufacturer of material handling equipment, including specialized models for the metals recycling sector, has added three salespeople to its staff in North America.

The company, which is part of Connecticut-based Terex Corp., says the move is part of a Fuchs’ effort to enhance customer engagement and support throughout the region, drawing on the extensive knowledge, expertise and engineering expertise from its manufacturing center of excellence in Germany.

“North America remains a vital market for Fuchs, driven by increased demand in key sectors such as ports, logging and scrap recycling, where we have focused our product development efforts in recent years,” says Andreas Ernst, general manager of material handling and lifting for Terex in the Americas.

“By strengthening our sales team in North America, we are dedicated to providing the best support to our distributors, who in turn can provide the best customer experience in the field."

Gregory Wiese has been appointed sales director for Fuchs North America. Fuchs describes Wiese as bringing “a wealth of experience” from his previous roles at Pacific Floorcare and cleaning equipment maker Nilfisk Inc., where he was involved in distribution development, marketing and service activities.

Wiese has been hired to oversee sales and business development for Fuchs in the United States and Canada, in part helping to ensure the firm’s strategic objectives are met.

Also joining Fuchs is Caleib Lynch, appointed as Southeast regional sales manager, and Larry Lehmann, appointed as Northeast regional sales manager for the material handling equipment maker.

Lynch has a background in the construction equipment and attachments sector, most recently with Canada-based GRYB Manufacturing.

Fuchs says Lynch will play a key role in enhancing customer support and facilitating communication between the company, its distributors and customers in his region.

Lehmann brings with him more than 10 years of industry experience, including his recent role at a scrap metal recycling company, where he managed demolition contracts and site operations.

“His deep knowledge and established relationships in the scrap and recycling segments make him a valuable asset to the Fuchs team in the Northeast region,” the company says.

The new staff members join an existing Fuchs North American roster that includes John VanRuitenbeek, regional sales manager for the western U.S. and Canada, and Joel Hardy, regional sales manager for the North Central U.S. and Eastern Canada.

"We are pleased to welcome Gregory, Caleib and Larry to our team, alongside John and Joel,” Ernst says. “Through their deep regional knowledge, our sales team will closely collaborate with our distributors across North America, offering tailored product recommendations and support to maximize the utilization and uptime of Fuchs equipment—all supported by the unmatched German engineering precision that Fuchs is known for worldwide.”
