Eriez announces promotions

Mike Shattuck promoted to metals recycling market manager, while Christopher Ramsdell is the new recycling equipment product manager.

The equipment company Eriez, based in Erie, Pennsylvania, has promoted Mike Shattuck to the position of market manager, metals recycling, while Christopher Ramsdell has been named product manager, metals recycling.

In his new role, Shattuck will be responsible for developing and implementing strategies designed to expand the sales of Eriez products into scrap metals markets.

Shattuck joined Eriez in 2006 as a technical sales representative. Most recently, he served as recycling equipment product manager.

“Mike has excelled at developing business throughout his tenure at Eriez,” says Charlie Ingram, Eriez vice president of sales and marketing. “His efforts have led to the release of many breakthrough products for the recycling industry, including the RevX-E eccentric eddy current separator, P-Rex scrap drum and FinesSort fines metal recovery system.”

Shattuck will report to Dave Heubel, Eriez director of North American sales.

“As a result of his great work over the years, Mike has earned the respect of his colleagues and customers,” says Heubel. “He has the leadership skills and vision needed to continue to grow business and advance Eriez’s leadership position in the thriving scrap metals markets.”

Eriez also promoted Christopher Ramsdell to the position of product manager of recycling equipment. In the position, Ramsdell will develop and implement strategies to expand the sales of Eriez recycling products into all Eriez markets.

“Since joining Eriez in 2011 as a technical sales representative, Chris has excelled at developing business to support our product and market managers, most recently focusing on the heavy industry and recycling markets,” says Heubel.

Eriez manufactures and markets equipment separation, meal detection, materials feeding, screening, conveying and controlling equipment through 12 international facilities throughout the world.
