EPC Inc., a St. Charles, Missouri-based IT asset disposition (ITAD) provider and subsidiary of CSI Leasing, has made two promotions, while Chief Operating Officer Lee Gallagher has retired after 18 years of working for EPC.

Ted Coffey will take over for Gallagher as COO. He has worked for EPC for 21 years, bringing extensive experience in the ITAD industry. Since joining EPC in 2003, he has held various positions such as roles in inventory, facility management, processing, recycling and production. Most recently, Coffey served as vice president of production and managed EPC’s policies and procedures across all U.S. facilities.

As COO, Coffey will oversee the planning and direction of all EPC’s operational procedures, objectives and initiatives throughout the U.S. He also will collaborate closely with EPC’s sister companies worldwide to ensure processes are consistent and that global customers enjoy a seamless EPC experience. The company says his background, experience and leadership will continue to drive EPC's success.

Vice President Joe Prenger also has been promoted to senior vice president of sales. Prenger will continue to manage EPC’s ITAD and product sales teams throughout the U.S., a role he has held since 2021. He specializes in developing highly customized ITAD solutions for domestic and international customers that include logistics, certified data sanitization, remarketing and recycling.

The company says he has used his technical knowledge to create new sales offerings that help reduce the workload of the IT departments, keeping EPC at the “cutting edge” of the ITAD market.

Prenger joined EPC in 2006 in the online sales department and has helped develop EPC’s refurbishment team, which he ran for 14 years prior to transitioning into sales. He also has redesigned and remodeled EPC’s U.S. retail showroom and its fleet of data destruction and recycling vehicles.

“Ted and Joe are integral to EPC’s success in very different but complementary ways,” EPC President and CEO Pat Laughlin says. “With a combined 39 years of experience, they are a wealth of knowledge. Between Ted’s operational experience and Joe’s passion for customer satisfaction, their vision for EPC will continue to position us as a leader in the industry both domestically and on a global scale.”
