According to an article in the Delmarva Now, EMR Smith Industries has acquired Delmarva Recycling Inc., Salisbury, Md. The article notes that the sale of the metal recycling center ends the family ownership of a thriving Salisbury institution spanning three quarters of a century.
Gregory Stein sold Delmarva Recycling Inc. to EMR Smith Industries for an undisclosed amount, evidence of the demand for materials produced by the $90.6 billion industry that is as strong among industrial buyers as neighborhood thieves.
