Cincinnati-based tire monitoring technology developer Doran Manufacturing is integrating tire pressure and temperature data with San Diego-based transportation technology company Platform Science to help fleets reduce tire-related operating expenses, increase equipment uptime and improve vehicle safety.
Now, fleets using both Doran and Platform Science can have tire pressure and temperature information displayed in-cab on their Platform Science tablet via the Doran TPMS mobile app and remotely through the Doran TPMS portal for convenience and clarity.

Doran says data captured and displayed includes real-time notifications for cautionary and critical low-pressure alerts, FastLeak rapid deflation events and high tire temperature conditions, with the option to add a high-pressure warning. The company says these insights also provide driver managers and fleet maintenance teams with real-time visibility on problem tires through email alert notifications, daily summary reporting and current tire status by vehicle.
“This partnership with Platform Science is a game-changer for fleets looking to lower their tire-related costs while improving vehicle safety,” Doran Vice President of Business Development Lee Demis says. “Proactively monitoring tire pressures and temperatures and displaying them in-cab and at the corporate office helps fleets of all sizes and types increase their equipment uptime and improve the bottom line. We’re thrilled to work with the high caliber team at Platform Science to bring this integration to fruition.”
