India-based Doll Plast Machinery has introduced the Plastic & Paper (Pulp) Separator Machine, which the company says can allow paper mills to save 35 to 40 percent of paper from mixed plastic and pulp waste. Another benefit, according to the company, is the ability to resell plastic scrap recovered from the process.
There are three different models available, including S25, offering 25 horsepower and the ability to process 60 to 70 kilograms per hour (kg/hr), the S50 operating at 50 horsepower and processing at 125 to 150 kg/hr, and the S100, which operates at 100 horsepower and processes at 125 to 250 kg/hr.
