Cronimet Corp., located in Rochester, Pa., has announced that Juergen Mross, who was co-founder of Cronimet, has left the company. He will continue in an advisory role with the company throughout this year.
The company announced that replacing him will be Frank Santoro, who will take the title of president/CEO. Santoro has been with Cronimet for more than 12 years as its vice president/COO. In addition, Rocky Frederick and Robert Santoro have been named as vice presidents of Cronimet Holdings and Cronimet Corp., respectively.
Cronimet Holdings is the parent company of Cronimet Corp., United Alloys and Metals, Unico Alloys and Metals, Proinoxa SA de CV and Cronimet Trading Corp.
The company is involved in recycling stainless steel and specialty metals. The company has locations in Pennsylvania, Illinois, Texas, and Alabama.
The company’s Proinoxa SA de CV of Texcoco, Mexico City, is a full-service scrap operation handling both ferrous and non-ferrous metals. United Alloys and Metals, Los Angeles, and Unico Alloys and Metals, Columbus, Ohio, provide high temperature alloys and titanium products.
