The Confederation of Paper Industries (CPI), an organization working on behalf of the U.K. paper industry, has named Simon Weston its director of raw materials.

Weston brings 20 years of experience in the U.K. paper industry, including time with Smurfit Kappa Recycling, Kappa Corby and Midland Paper Recycling.
In naming Weston to the position, CPI’s Director General David Workman says, “I am delighted that the CPI team has been further strengthened by Simon’s appointment. He brings a huge amount of knowledge and experience with him which will be put to good use in championing paper recycling in the UK.”
