Recycling and commodity trading technology provider cieTrade, Stamford, Conn., has unveiled a new mobile reporting app, cieMobile, for use on Apple mobile devices, such as the iPhone.
Provided exclusively for companies using cieTrade software, the app is designed to provide real-time mobile access to detailed account information and management reports from any Apple mobile device, the company says.
David Haber, president of cieTrade Systems, says, "CieMobile offers our clients a value-added solution for providing sales reps with fast, timely access to vital account information from the road or anywhere else. It offers tools that can help increase productivity and improve customer service."
Haber also says the application can make phone calls, provide driving directions or send email messages directly from the app's account list. Managers and stakeholders can use the app's dashboard feature, which offers high-level reporting on revenue, purchases, tonnage trends and open shipments, among other figures, cieTrade says.
"It's the most powerful mobile reporting app that we've ever offered, providing fast access to data with a rich, customizable reporting capability, all packaged in a modern iOS7 interface," says Haber.
William Winchester, vice president of sales at Berg Supply in Los Angeles, observes, "CieMobile is surprisingly fast. It almost seems like the data is saved right on my phone instead of in our corporate database."
According to cieTrade, cieMobile is compatible with all versions of cieTrade without the need for additional software or middleware.
