Cards Holdings LLC, headquartered in Fayetteville, Arkansas, has acquired County Sanitation of Anderson, Missouri, marking its sixth acquisition of 2024.
Since its inception in 2017, Cards has expanded its operating area from Arkansas to Kansas, Missouri, Oklahoma and Texas. The company began expanding its presence in the state last year with the purchase of C&R Disposal Inc., an Asbury, Missouri-based solid waste collection company offering commercial, residential and roll-off services, and Pedersen Trash Service LLC, a Hartville, Missouri-based solid waste collection company offering commercial and residential services, filling a void between the company’s Nixa and Winona, Missouri, operations, CEO Dan Christensen said at the time. Those purchases were followed by Cards’ acquisition of Oregon County Public Waste early this year.
County Sanitation, which Cards says is known for its commercial and residential waste solutions, brings customer density and route synergies to the company. Serving communities in Anderson, Missouri, and surrounding areas, County Sanitation has established a legacy of reliability and commitment to customer satisfaction.
"We are thrilled to welcome County Sanitation customers to the Cards family," Christensen says. "This acquisition exemplifies our dedication to providing top-tier waste management solutions and underscores our strategic growth initiatives in the Missouri region. Cards’ ability to continue acquiring tuck-ins allows for superior integration and seamless transition for our new customer base."
In addition to its residential, commercial and roll-off services, Cards offers an array of waste management solutions, including single-stream recycling and portable waste services. The company says it also invests in state-of-the-art facilities and equipment to minimize its ecological footprint and maximize recycling efforts.
