Analytics firm Datagration working with sustainable packaging manufacturer

Datagration, a Houston-based provider of analytics solutions, has been awarded a contract with Portland, Oregon-based packaging manufacturer D6 Inc., a vertically integrated company with the ability to utilize up to 100 percent postconsumer recycled content in its polyethylene terephthalate (PET) and aluminum packaging.

According to Datagration, D6’s approach involves the collection, cleaning and upcycling of scrap into high-quality, food-grade packaging products. As a responsible end market (REM) recollector, D6 ensures products and resources are managed responsibly and sustainably, preventing environmental harm through collection and recycling.

Under the terms of the contract, D6 will leverage Datagration’s EcoVisor ESG (environmental, social and governance) and Sustainability Performance Management platform. D6 aims to become the world’s first carbon neutral packaging company by 2030, and the integration of data to accelerate its sustainability initiatives and optimize its environmental footprint across its manufacturing operations is a key to achieving its goal.

Additionally, D6 will leverage EcoVisor in community recycling initiatives to monitor and track progress to circularity in partnership with major retailers.
