AMCS Group, an Ireland-based supplier of integrated cloud-based software and vehicle technology for the waste and recycling industry, has launched its AMCS Platform Spring 2024.
The latest release delivers role-based automation for municipal and residential managers, fleet operators, transport managers and recycling traders.
“This release elevates business performance across our customers’ operations through superior user experience and automation, all while driving sustainability,” says Elaine Treacy, global product director at AMCS. “Our new purpose-built municipal solution is designed to help cities and private haulers to modernize and efficiently automate their service delivery capabilities while meeting the rising service expectations of residents and delivering on sustainability goals.
“New trader centric automation empowers recycling traders with enhanced insights and tools to trade smarter with greater efficiency. Enhanced AI [artificial intelligence] powered and data driven transport automation continues to deliver greater fleet efficiency and safety."
The platform includes new features for municipal and residential operations, transport automation, material management trading and sustainable design.
The AMCS platform enables municipalities, their service partners and private haulers to automate every aspect of their service delivery to residential customers, AMCS says.
The transport automation feature includes a new Transport Live View with real-time map display of fleet location and performance, with views of route progress versus plan and alerts on exceptions and events. AMCS Vision AI records and monitors video associated with safety incidents, and the company says the automated actioning of work orders based on vehicle diagnostic codes delivers a more proactive preventive maintenance schedule.
The spring platform features a material management trading option, which comes with trader-centric automation support. The single order management hub allows traders to manage all order types, and a new order fulfillment hub offers tracking and management tools for each order.
AMCS says its mission is to provide comprehensive environment, health, safety and quality (EHSQ) and environmental, social and governance (ESG) solutions. The Quintec Platform is being modernized to achieve this and will include a technical foundation and redesign of the user experience, the company says.
