Accent Wire Tie, a supplier of baling wire and wire tier equipment, debuted its Accent R400 wire tier during WasteExpo 2021, June 28-30 at the Las Vegas Convention Center.
The Accent R400 Wire Tier offers rotary tier technology that can be used in the waste and recycling industry. According to a news release from Accent Wire Tie, the new wire tier is engineered to be installed or retrofitted on two-ram balers.
The wire tier’s knotter performs a nonreciprocating four-twist rotary knotting sequence that enables operators to use a less costly, finer gauge baling wire without sacrificing safe operation and transport. The Accent R400 also is engineered to require less maintenance, with fewer moving parts and a time-saving, quick-change patented removable parts cartridge. The wire tier’s compact design also accommodates different baler design obstacles for tier placement.
“This next-generation strapper is the product of a three-year development process by our industry-leading engineering team,” says Bill Sims, president and CEO of Accent Wire Tie. “Customers and dealers in the recycling and waste industry will greatly benefit from having this new wire tier technology in our equipment line. The Accent R400 Wire Tier embodies the reputation for quality and excellence established by Accent over 35 years.”
