Tomra of North America has introduced the T53, an updated model of its reverse vending recycling machine, while meeting the demands of environments with greater exposure.
The T53 features reinforced doors and cabinets and a locking system in an economical machine that collects, sorts and compacts used beverage containers.
“The T53, a mid-capacity machine with efficient container compaction and storage, is a great solution for small- and medium-sized stores that are looking for an economical recycling platform with robust security features,” says Warren Stoll, VP of Marketing and Business Development, Tomra. “The T53 is equipped with Tomra’s unique Sure Return Technology, providing continuous video surveillance of items inserted into the machine. This system ensures correct deposit refunds while delivering the best protection against attempted deception.”
Reverse vending machines (RVM) automate collecting and sorting used plastic, glass and UBCs.
In addition to providing receipts for deposit refunds, the T53 offers retailers the opportunity to generate product coupons or special offers for redemption inside the store.
