Thermo Fibertek Inc. announced that its Thermo Black Clawson subsidiary has received orders from four Chinese paper manufacturers for recycled-fiber systems.
Ningxia Meili Paper Industry Co. Ltd. has ordered a $3.5 million deinking system. This system will convert low-grade mixed-office waste into high-quality fiber that, in turn, will be used to produce high-grade printing and writing papers for sale into the Chinese market.
Lee & Man Paper Mfg. Co. Ltd. will use Thermo Black Clawson's recycling equipment to upgrade its capacity to manufacture high-quality linerboard used for corrugated shipping containers. The system incorporates Thermo Black Clawson's XTREME cleaners, the company's newest product for removing residual wax and glues from pulp.
A repeat order from Sun Paper Co. Ltd. includes two Thermo Black Clawson recycling systems, which will be used in the production of multi-ply coated boxboard, commonly used for packaging consumer goods.

is scheduled to ship in the second quarter of 2000, will significantly improve the quality of boxes produced by Longkou. Chinese producers are seeking to package their goods in higher quality boxes suitable for high-impact printing.
