SSI Shredding Systems, based in Wilsonville, Ore., has formed a new division called SSC Shredder Service Co. The division will focus on providing spare parts and on-site or remote service for industrial shredders of virtually any make or model.
“We noticed a growing number of shredder users who were without support for spare or replacement parts as well as technical service,” says Joby Easton, director of Sales & Marketing for SSI Shredding Systems. “We decided to form a company that would fill that gap and become a reliable resource for shredder owners.”
The company hopes to leverage its parent company’s experience and manufacturing facilities to provide in-house engineering, field service, custom retrofits, parts and machining for various shredders.
