Sims Recycling Solutions’ (SRS) Reno, Nevada, facility has received OHSAS 18001 certification. The company says that the facility is its first SRS ISO 14001 plant in the United States to earn the OHSAS 18001 certification. ISO 18001 certification covers companies who focus on proactively developing occupational health and safety management procedures.
“We are very proud to be the first Sims Recycling Solutions facility in the United States to achieve this certification. The certification reflects the considerable efforts made by our employees over the last few months to further improve our already very high safety standards. Thank you to everyone who was involved in making this happen,” says Josh Macauley, plant manager of SRS’ Reno facility.
