SJF Ventures, Durham, N.C., is holding a one-day event to familiarize entrepreneurs in the recycling and other industries with the range of equity funding available to them.
“Getting Ready for Equity” is an all-day event being held on Tuesday, Sept. 23, at the Summit Conference Center in Charleston, W. Va.
The event, which is being billed as free for “qualified entrepreneurs,” runs from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. It has been designed to address questions such as:
- What types of equity investment are available?
- What are equity investors looking for?
- What are the benefits and challenges of equity investment?
- How do I prepare my company to attract equity investors?
