ARMA International has announced the new SharePoint® Records Management Certificate.
Beginning in February, ARMA International took its industry leading education on the road for the first ARMA Live! Roadshow, featuring the brand new SharePoint® Records Management Certificate. This interactive, fast-paced certificate program aims to show attendees how to successfully implement large and complex electronic document and records management systems (EDRMS). The program is facilitated by Bruce Miller, a best-selling author and expert in electronic recordkeeping, and offers insight into EDRMS project implementation realities, fundamentals and project management tools.
The goal for the SharePoint® Records Management Certificate is to teach people how to use the tool better—focusing on the records management implications. ARMA International frequently has provided education to help bring the most cutting-edge technology and best practices to our members.
In addition to sessions Feb. 25-26 in Atlanta and March 4-5 in Los Angeles, ARMA has planned sessions for:
- June 10-11 at the NBC offices, New York;
- June 17-18 at the DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel Kansas City, Overland Park, Kan.; and
- June 24-25 at the DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel Philadelphia, Valley Forge, Pa.
Upon completion of this certificate program, attendees will be able to:
- Develop a detailed EDRMS roadmap and project implementation plan;
- Identify and avoid repeating common EDRMS implementation mistakes;
- Overcome limitations of the EDRMS software;
- Achieve full user adoption;
- Estimate budget and resource requirements;
- Meet measurable recordkeeping targets; and
- Apply best practices for the implementation of electronic recordkeeping solutions.
Electronic recordkeeping is something that we’ve seen our membership clamor for the past several years. We’re meeting that need by providing information on Microsoft SharePoint 2012 and other EDRMS technology platforms.
