2. American Pulverizer rolling ringmill series. American Pulverizer Co., St. Louis, has introduced a series of rolling ringmills, offering these features:
- shred and liberate turnings, meatballs, tailings, electronics and other specialty materials
- equipped with a rolling ring with offset teeth to process materials with less fines generation than typical hammermills
- slower speed increases wear-part life and reduces heat buildup
- allow for economical processing of a wide variety of materials

3. Kobelco multidismantling machine. Kobelco Construction Machinery USA, Houston, has announced that the new SK210D multidismantling machine is available in North America. It offers these features, Kobelco says:
- designed to take apart vehicle bodies, engines and other metal components with precise, safe and efficient operation
- two specialized crushers that allow for different dismantling tasks
- suitable for small-scale separating and sorting of metal products
- optional vehicle-dismantling crusher offers a powerful grab, increased cutting force and rotational torque to cut through a chassis and frame

4. SEM EMP-1000-HD degausser. Security Engineered Machinery (SEM), Westborough, Massachusetts, says its new EMP1000-HS electromagnetic degausser is designed to “sanitize” magnetic media, including hard drives and magnetic tapes. Features include:
- U.S. National Security Agency (NSA) evaluated
- a magnetic force of 2 tesla (20,000 gauss)
- suitable for sanitizing high-density PMR and LMR hard disk drives with coercivity ratings of up to 5,000 oersteds and data tapes with nominal coercivity ratings of up to 2,800 oersteds
