2. Cresswood Shredding Machinery Destroyer-Max Drive System. Cresswood Shredding Machinery, Cortland, Ill., has introduced the Destroyer-Max drive system for its Destroyer single-shaft, low-RPM shredders. Features include:

  • Designed to offer increased throughput and uniform output when processing bulky and dense materials
  • Integrated into the central control panel for the shredder for a user-friendly interface for operators
  • Functions with the proprietary gearbox and mount design, offering a fully mature, robust and durable technology that is a "ready-to-ship innovation," the company says

3. Builtrite Model 2100-SE Stationary Electric Material Handler. Northshore Manufacturing, Two Harbors, Minn., the manufacturer of the Builtrite line of products, has made a number of enhancements to its 2100-SE stationary electric material handler. The enhancements include:

  • A modular power unit, capable of being machine mounted or floor mounted, depending upon the application and customer's preference
  • A three-fold increase in hydraulic oil cooling capability using a 20-horsepower motor
  • A more energy efficient, 75-horsepower electric motor

4. Cardinal Scale Unattended Weighing Systems. Cardinal Scale of Webb City, Mo., is offering unattended weighing systems that it says can provide an effective solution for unmanned vehicle weight management. Features include:

  • Available with barcode badge reader or proximity badge reader and/or ticket printer
  • Designed to be interfaced to WinVRS software for a complete vehicle weight management system
