- lack of emissions makes it ideal for indoor use
- 32- to 35-foot reach, depending on boom style
- up to 23,300 pounds of lift capacity, depending on boom length

2. Galbreath ROC-LOC roll-off locking system. Galbreath, a brand owned by Charlotte, North Carolina-based Wastequip, has released the ROC-LOC roll-off container locking system for securing roll-off containers for transport. It offers these features, the company says:
- compatible with most brands of cable hoists, hook hoists and trailers
- operates with air-actuated, auto-system airbags designed to ensure contact with the container and to require less maintenance compared with similar products on the market
- mounts to the side of the hoist frame, below the top of the side rollers
- independent hooks ensure contact with the container’s long sills
- designed to work with standard air-shift power take-offs (PTOs)

3. Mack LR collection truck. Mack Trucks, Allentown, Pennsylvania, has introduced the Mack LR low-entry cabover refuse model truck, featuring:
- three available axle configurations
- powered by a standard 11-liter Mack MP7 diesel engine, delivering 325 to 345 horsepower and 1,200 to 1,280 pound feet of torque or optional Cummins Westport ISL G natural gas engine
- an Allison RDS five-speed or six-speed automatic transmission
- a driver environment with tilt and telescopic steering column, power windows, power door locks, memory mirrors, in-dash air conditioning, in-cab LED lighting and an instrument cluster with a color LCD display

4. Sicon EcoShred Compact shredder. Sicon America LP, based in Alpharetta, Georgia, has introduced the EcoShred Compact shredder, which is designed for small to medium-sized scrap processors and automobile recyclers. The EcoShred Compact offers these features, according to the company:
- combines a preshredder followed by a heavy-duty hammer mill
- the self-contained shredder also includes a feeding hopper or optional infeed conveyor and all hydraulic and electric controls and drives
- capable of processing a range of materials, including flattened cars, bales, logs, mixed scrap and nonferrous metals
- powered by four 250-kilowatt motors delivering a throughput rate of 45 metric tons per hour
- mounted on a fully enclosed frame
